Pittsburgh Information Security Awareness Day 2019

Talk description: If you’ve been following along with the PCI Council, they have been hinting on the new revision to the most enforced private authoritative standard in the world: the PCI Data Security Standard (DSS). Through this presentation, we will be looking at the upcoming changes, and they are nothing short than the most impactful since its inception back in 2004. Not only are there almost 60 new controls proposed, but the entire format is changing. While we still have a while before its official release (Q4 2020), it is beneficial to be aware of what is changing and prepare your organization to incorporate these with the flexibility of time.
